5 million, really?
Most Scots-Irish just call themselves "American", that is how common the ethnicity is, and how closely they are tied to American culture. Which disguises their numbers. Personally, I suspect that even the estimates of 27 million are low. A lot of people are of partial Scots-Irish heritage. Baldur |
