Fortunately, though not always, the great white north tends to think on its own. And so, too, that tends to be a good thing sometimes as well as a bad thing sometimes. Canada is a unique animal.

As for the "Law", I don't believe in it. For most of what we see day to day ("don't kill", "don't steal", "honour thy police officer", etc.), I agree with, albeit I do not give it the power of enforcement over me. I simply agree with and adopt the concepts. Most of them. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.
