So what IS the most important thing for causing and sustaining social change, Hajduk, in your opinion?

And we are not talking about terrorism at all in this thread, we are talking about Female Genital Mutilation. I think when FGM societies learn that FGM is not practiced in most of the world and that most of the world abhors it with a vengeance,, they begin to think of it differently.

That's the beginning. Then comes pressure from the rest of the world to make them change their practices, and that is beginning to minimize FGM in many places, even as we speak.
