While my Mom and I yammer every day, we don't discuss my sexual orientation just as I don't discuss hers. :)

Yes, she and my Dad both know the charges I had, with whom I was involved with, but nobody ever wants to talk about it. She does often say that she's proud of me "staying honourable", i.e., not getting involved again.

RedViolin, while you might not have family to yammer with, you DO have people here. Me, for example.
