One of my local friends has a 5yo granddaughter whom her mom occasionally lets visit. For some reason, my friend was eager to tell me about some strange behavior that the little girl exhibited during her last visit.

Apparently, the little girl was quick to shed her underpants, especially when wearing her customary little sundresses. According to my friend, little Jackie (not her real name) would proudly lift up her dress and ask her mom to look at her "jay-jay"! Little Jackie was also pretty excited about bending completely over and exposing her little bare butt while pulling her butt cheeks wide apart.

Now, I'm driving the car while my friend is telling me this, and I'm having a very hard time focusing my concentration on the road in order to avoid an accident!

My friend related that little Jackie found it extremely funny to expose herself like this all throughout the day for the entire three days that she was visiting. However, when my friend reported the behavior to her daughter, the daughter just shrugged it off - saying that it was just a phase, and that Jackie would grow out of it. She did not seem to be at all worried.

So, grandma took it upon herself to warn Jackie that exposing herself like that could be very dangerous around the "wrong" people. She was surprised that little Jackie just laughed and said that she liked showing off! [Oh how I wished that I had been there to, ... erm, "help correct" this "bad" behavior!]

Naturally, as a friend I was obliged to agree that such behavior was shameful, all the while concealing some particularly shameful arousal.

I found out later that the little girl had recently visited some "country" relatives (on her absentee father's side) in the American deep south, and had started to exhibit this behavior upon her return. My friend thinks she learned it from her older cousins.

Personally, I don't know if this is age-appropriate behavior or not! However, I sure would have loved the opportunity to have frequent "adult" conversations about it with little Jackie!
