At least not directly, in the sense that it should be, or can be changed.

My personal experience is that the pedophiles I've known, as a group, seem to be substantially more likely to have personality disorders or other problems - depression and suicide ideation, for example, is obvious - compared with the general population. My impression is that the attraction is just too much for most men to cope with healthily.

Some of that therapy should probably be geared at accepting their attraction, but not trying to change it or anything like that.
