Even if "we" were to win, as jd420 has so artfully reasoned, we would still inherit an extremely fucked up world.

Even if we could magically "eliminate" all of the anti's, bigots, and haters, we would still be faced with the daunting task of helping billions of children deal with untold years of internalized trauma and the toxic dysfunctional world that would be left behind.

Even if we could accomplish that impossible task, we would still need to deal with our own internal demons. We would need to divest ourselves of any thoughts of taking revenge upon the remaining non-MAP adults. We would also need to release all of our hateful and judgmental impulses towards each other.

Finally, we would need to honestly assess whether the little lovers of our dreams would actually choose romances with us over waiting until after puberty to have sex or engaging in playful exploration with persons their own age.

If somehow, overcoming all of that, and we could still "win", what kind of world would we want to build to ensure the best outcome for every child?
