Addendum

Um... I wouldn't want someone previously convicted of rape to be around children in practically ANY capacity.

That's a bit too extreme a statement and deserves to be altered to exclude the outliers and, of course, those convicted with unfair criteria such as "she was 12" when she was actually wholly invested and wanted the interaction.

Anyway, the main point is that when we try and differentiate good pedophiles vs. predators... we should be looking at context and character one scenario at a time rather than assigning more labels - they don't help.
