As long as you're not prowling the dark web paying for videos of child sex abuse (the real kind, as in exploiting kids as a resource to make money off of pedophiles or whomever else pays for it, and rinse / repeat), or the organizers of the enterprise, you don't have anything much to worry about, at least not any more than you already did....
It's not news to me that several separate law-enforcement agencies will collaborate in order to tackle shit like this. The FBI calls up South Korea and says "Yeah, uh... we've been investigating this monetized network of child exploitation and we know who's running the server and where he is, and surprise surprise," and South Korea's gonna say "No thanks," ? Doesn't really strike me as bad news, as long as the ends will justify the means. There's basically four types of scenarios in which morally-neutral C.P. exists or is obtained... and I would estimate that this was none of those, even in lieu of more information about the nature of the content. ~ WOOF |
