The communities I am out to do not want me to die.

Every person who's attracted to children has their own unique personality and are more or less a threat or a benefactor depending on the characteristics, traits, qualities, demeanor, and behavior that makes up the individual (in seriousness, literally everything that defines them OTHER THAN the typically-broad category of persons to whom they're attracted).

In the ABSTRACT, someone might find it quite easy to say, "all people who are attracted to any children ought to be murdered, or severely beaten, or spat on; or to be very kind to them they ought to cease and disappear..."

But when you, as a girl-lover or boy-lover, have earned the trust and respect of those around you, and been honest and earnest in who you are and where you come from and what you are doing and what your intentions are, it seems to me that it is not so easy to lose that trust and respect...

At least not to the right people...

Be a genuine human being... be loving and show kindness and respect... and when push comes to shove, someone is going to have your back... and when you're not easy pickings, the rest... the ones whose opinions ought not to matter... often can become gradually swayed to value your good qualities, re-contextualizing the attraction as from the perspective of "basic consideration as an equal", and can even find themselves being pleasantly calm in your company, and may eventually come to be deeply appreciative of who you are... and, at worst, they choose not to care.
