It is a difficulty I dealt with as well. I tried holding on to Q for so long. Though she is now in her late teens and we have a great relationship, it is not what it once was. She still loves hanging out with me but she is very into the popular clique at school and is usually busy. It does feel great that she will usually ask to chill once a month or so.

My transition from S to Q was easy because it happened almost seamlessly. I haven't been in a super close relationship with a LG for a minute now. I do have one but since it is at my place of work it is no where near as (legally) physical as my relationships with S and Q and T (also a late teen now).
