It appears that there someone wrote some rebuttals to your essay with the usual slant we come to expect more from the 'comments section below' on YT.

Yep, I've been meaning to get back to this person, but have never quite gotten to it after all these years. Actually, I kinda forgot that I had written this essay until somewhat recently. I think I will reply to them soon though, now that it's on my mind again.

some points you make, such as children being able to consent (to sexual activity), sit uncomfortably even for a seasoned pedo like me.

That is perfectly understandable. This truly is a sensitive issue, not just for antipeds but even us pedos as well.

Keep in mind that "consent" is defined as "permission for something to happen or agreement to do something." Basically, "consent" is just a fancy word for "permission." Virtually all sentient beings have the capacity to give consent, and also rescind it at any moment. For instance, if you reach down to pet a cat, and it is receptive to your strokes, it has given you its consent to pet it. However, if after a few pets it gets fed up and hisses at you, it has rescinded its consent. The same applies to children. They are fully capable of giving others permission to engage with them sexually, and can also refuse such permission. There is nothing about being a child that materially or logically precludes the capacity to consent to sexual acts, or any other activity for that matter.
