...that trying to impose "trans" and "drag" aesthetics and identity on kids to get as many of them as possible to think they are trans or "non-binary" in an attempt to "normalize" it so they will not be prejudiced against real trans people, is very misguided and in no way progressive. Especially when another motive is a regressive "left" hatred of cis-heterosexuality and single gender identification.

Kids who have real inclinations to being trans will come to this conclusion on their own, without it being cajoled into them, just as they did even before the current extreme replaced the previous direction. They can do this by observing natural trans among society, not by society trying to artificially create far more trans kids that exist naturally as a hateful reactionary measure towards cis-heterosexuality and specific gender identification. This is one of the recently emergent but very prevalent dark extremes of leftist thinking. Imposing an "alternative" sexual identity on kids to suppress cis-heterosexuality is merely the flip side form of bigotry to suppressing natural expressions of alternative sexual identities that existed in the past.

I was fine with naturally trans people in the 2000's, before this regressive reverse-bigotry and imposition of alternative identities started. Since it began over the previous decade, it has not helped real trans people but only inconvenienced them into a defensive position even as it encourages angry counter-backlashes against them. Even some reasonable, long-time real trans people have begun standing up against this trend, as a trend for political purposes is exactly what it is.
