Should I reach out to a church as a potential Ally

On the Church's card is a LGBTQ+ pride flag. It says safe space. All are welcome.

That seems like a challenge to me. The church offers itself as a social justice Church. The flyers they hand out has all the usual progressive stuff.

I was thinking of sending an anonymous Email and asking them them if they would like help in understanding a maligned group (pedophiles ) Which I am a part of.

What do you think?
