Hello Frianne, Welcome to GC. Enjoy your stay and please read the faq's.

From what you described it seems that your in a spot of bother.

Firstly we need to know how your daughter was affected by this boyfriend of yours. The term "molested" is a very broad term, well around these parts anyways and yes i do realise that you cant give details on here but can you tell us if she were physically or emotionally hurt?

Contrary to popular belief we (peds) do place high importance on a childs safety and wellbeing. Sometimes before our own.

How long had you been seeing/dating this guy before he did this unspeakable act to your daughter? This may give some insight into your bf's motives.

I am in a situation oddly similar to yours, the difference being that I am/was a friend of a mum who is 42 and has a 11 yo daughter (the lovely Miss S). The key difference here is that i am a girl-lover and do have the utmost repect for the daughter. Not so much for mum now but that is a very long story.

Perhaps your bf should pop in here for a look, we may well have some answers for his questions too.

Also are you willing to set your heart up for a fall should your bf end up serving time for his actions? hey i'm just exploring the possibilities.

To answer your question Yes guys can be attracted to women and girls BUT loving women and girls is a whole different kettle of fish.
Try and have a heart to heart with your bf and see if he opens up at all.
