What we know about the distribution of pedophilia makes no sense if it isn't genetic. And unlike teleiophilic homosexuality, it can exercize direct selective pressure (both on the pedo and on the child.) Of course a trait so complex is probably governed by many genes rather than a single one, but I am pretty sure we are genetic.

Mind scanning has the advantage that it targets surgically. It has, if it really is accurate, the capacity to discriminate between pedos and non-pedos minimizing both false positives and false negatives. Even the plethysmograph isn't this accurate; and of course, behavior is much less so.

This is why I believe if we don't win in this generation, we'll go extinct in the same period.
