Always a party pooper. I haven't shown any favoritism. No male student has ever attempted to be affectionate with me. If one did, I wouldn't push him away. I'm not a BLer, so it wouldn't have the same emotional meaning to me, but I wouldn't deny any child affection that they obviously crave. To do so may be "ethical" but it's fucking heartless.

Based on your spelling of "favouritism" I'm betting you're not from the U.S. or Canada. Hugging a child is not against any rule. If it is, then every teacher and principal I've ever met needs to get fired right now.

For a GLer, you have some funny ideas.
