Sometimes, it depressed me to even go in public anywhere, because of the unreasonable mindset that a lot of people have that if you so much as even LOOK at a girl, it's assumed that you must be some kind of pervert. That mentality really pisses me off. I wonder if that's part of the reason why I haven't had very many GMs recently.

I know what you're talking about though; I've had some awkward instances like the one you described. For instance, not too long ago I was at the store getting groceries. I was walking down an aisle, when along came a pretty brunette who looked to be about 8 y.o. or so along with her dad. As I was about to walk past them, I happened to make eye contact for a moment with the girl, who I saw was looking at me; she smiled at me and I smiled back at her. Then as I starting to look away, I briefly made eye contact with her dad, who I saw was also looking me. And he was glaring at me with one of those "what the fuck are you looking at my daughter for?" looks. It made me want to kick his fucking ass, because he was apparently not happy with the fact that I acknowledged his daughter's presence. It really bugs me when shit like that happens. I swear, it seems like nobody is polite and friendly to anybody anymore. Everybody's gotta have a fucking attitude towards everyone. This guy kinda gave me the impression that he was one of those "children souldn't be seen OR heard" types.
