Consider this. Currently every auto maker has the ability to make a hydrogen fuel cell or gas electric hybrid affordable in today's marketplace, which would help US econamy and help the environment. However they will not do so else disrupt the monetary power of the middle eastern countries. Yet we will fight anyone who dares to charge us too much for our precious oil.

It is also out of fear of sparking outright terrorism worldwide if we cut off their only means of export.

I was once told that the US has to be police to the world because we are a superpower. I now know that the US is a superpower because we medle in things to make them go our way and pay the consequenses for it later.

Either way even if every male (except those in government) were a pedophile with an active GL sexual partner and the rate of underage intercourse was 100% there still would be laws making it a crime and they'd still be fighting their war on pedophilia.
