You sound off like some Keeper of the Holy Writ – not one word or comma shall be changed from the Gospel else he shall be outcast.

I’m genuinely surprised by your lack of interest in wishing to promote acceptance in society. To me it is a primary concern, I’m sure it must be possible. To me a tricky problem should be kicked around, looked at from all sides, taking nothing as dogma. Semantics are usually the key. Only then may glimmerings of a solution be found.

The quote above, about the 20% etc, comes from a post below regarding a tv psychologist interview (sorry I don’t know how to do in-text links). I thought it looked interesting as it promotes the understanding that child-love is far more prevalent than most people think. But oh no, any discussion of it would be likely to offend the Gospel, so has to be pounced on.

I believe that we have the same ends in our sights. However whereas I would like to promote an atmosphere where there can be mutual understanding within society, you espouse your views in a way that will leave us forever as outcasts from society. I realise that you may be perfectly happy with that, but for me it’s not good enough.
