Oh yes, Captain, I think I know what you mean. It hurts to see the kind of person who to us is utterly beautiful and desirable hurting and sad. Trouble is, although we would love to help them, our desire is very likely to surface, and with us, that's when it could go wrong and end up hurting either them, us, or both.
