Both my councellors were women and I felt that neither of them saw me as a "ticking time bomb", although the first sometimes gave me the impression that she was trying very hard not to give me the impression that that's how she thought of me! The second never treated me that way for a minute! In fact, we only tended to discuss my sexuality in as much as how it affected the rest of my life. We still make phone contact sometimes which can be very helpful indeed :-)
