I was mainly referring to events that happened in public places, where I noticed 'ogling' by strangers on a number of occasions. On one occasion it was potentially threatening when I think the man assumed I was a fellow ped rather than her father, but I do not wish to discuss this further here. The term 'predator' was perhaps ill-considered - I suppose I assumed their intentions were sexual, but of course you never know for sure. The situation where your child receives a cuddle from a family friend or favourite uncle is of course totally different
