Someone was checking out your daughter and that was a potential "threat"? What do you think he was going to do? Follow you back to your car, attack you and take your daughter? Where was the harm in him just looking?

Perhaps the threat you're referring to might be that this man thought you were a fellow "predator" and that you were having sex with the young girl you were with, and you thought he'd approach you and try to get in on the "action"?

...or, the simplest answer...perhaps the harm was all in your mind, perhaps the guy just thought your daughter was hot, and took a good long look at her. I don't see why he wouldn't assume you were the girls father. I know when I see a young girl with an older male alone, I usually figure it's her dad, uncle or other relative.

I can only partially understand your reluctance to discuss this here...it almost sounds like you think anyone checking out little girls is a sexual predator that will try to have sex with the girl, especially if they see her with an older male alone. I dunno...and I am sorry if that's not what you think...but your first post and this last reply really gives me that impression. Again, forgive me if you don't believe this, but it's pretty much what you're saying here.
