...the best conditions for people to act in the sprit of brotherhood.
It taxes the proccess if people can't understand a word of what their neighbour is saying.

It would be unreasonable to expect everyone to speak every language and every dialect, so it is the most reasonable choice to expect everyone to speak the same language in order for them to be able to communicate with each other and act like brothers.
As the tower of Babel story shows, people cooperate better when they know what each other are talking about.

As for myself, like I said, language study is my life.
