And there was more inexplicable behavior!!

Thank you to all who gave me some advice on toddler behavior in this thread. But I forgot to mention another inexplicable action on Terra's part at the restaurant.

At one point, her father was holding her and she kept repeatedly hitting him. He kept saying, "Terra, stop hitting me," but she continued to do it. And he didn't do or say anything to provoke that behavior! Curiously, she wasn't hitting her mother or her sister when they held her. It just made no sense to me that she was hitting her father over and over again like that.

I just can't figure toddlers out.
