So, Trucker, are you suggesting that I should have stopped and spoken to this girl? I think you should know that something like that wouldn't be wise in this society. IMO, you bring more suspicion to yourself if you constantly interact with girls in your AoA, or always seek to do so. I didn't "run away" from the girl...I simply went about my business without stopping to talk to her. If she looked 18 or older than perhaps I would have stopped to talk to her. But there is no way that I will risk flirting with an AG in a public place. I had no idea who was there with the girl other than the boy she was walking with and I didn't feel like putting myself at risk for getting a severe lecture from a parent or guardian.

And I fully embrace my hebephilia...I am open about it to most of my friends and I make it clear that I'm not ashamed to find young girls attractive. But I do not want to put myself in a situation where I might get in trouble with the law, have an irate parent or adult guardian get in my face and make a major scene, or be stopped and questioned by a security guard who may suspect that I'm an MAA. I am an activist for changing the law, true, but I am NOT a proponent of doing anything that might be against the law when it comes to interacting with minors. I don't need the grief or the embarrassment. This mall was crawling with cops and security guards, it would not have been smart to wear my hebephilia on my sleeve, so to speak.
