And yes, I'll go ahead and say for the record that Diss and Joey were also far too quick to jump down your throat. Your questions toward MAPTherapy below were also not to be unexpected from a MAA when confronted with a Non who is also a Therapist. And yes, you absolutely have the right to ask whatever questions you wish. That being said, Diss and Joey also have the right to tell you if they think your questions are out of line.

I didn't jump down his throat. I politely told him that he was being rude to our guest and badly misinterpreting his posts and intent. He then was very rude to me, a longstanding member, and I still politely responded to him. I think you have to understand this within the context that Gatekeeper has a history of being hostile to guests and to MAA's who don't agree with him on every issue.

Being hostile to people who are in a position to help us is stupid and counterproductive. Dissident and I recognize this and we are working towards building bridges with people who can help us. But we certainly didn't jump all over Gatekeeper and we didn't "flame" him like he flamed us. I also have no problem with Gatekeeper being skeptical and not trusting people.

But his behavior crossed the line into being rude and disrespectful, which is the only reason why I politely requested that he stop. Not only for his sake, but for the sake of the community at large.
