In this case, I think it is you who were too quick to jump. MAPTherapy's questions were not at all unreasonable or unexpected for a Non seeking understanding about us. Frankly, the fact that he's even asking questions is far and above the way we usually get treated by them.

And yes, I'll go ahead and say for the record that Diss and Joey were also far too quick to jump down your throat. Your questions toward MAPTherapy below were also not to be unexpected from a MAA when confronted with a Non who is also a Therapist. And yes, you absolutely have the right to ask whatever questions you wish. That being said, Diss and Joey also have the right to tell you if they think your questions are out of line. You have the freedom to continue asking questions and they have the freedom to call out what they see as "hostile." However (and this is an important point), you also have the freedom and ability to ignore them if you feel "jumped on" by them. I regret that you feel "jumped on" by anyone for simply asking questions - even hostile ones. You have every right to do so.

All that being said, you did just react to MAPTherapy in exactly the same way that Diss and Joey reacted to you, so maybe you do have some understanding as to how they feel. Just keep that in mind for the future :)
