A plea, an amazing GM, and amazing self control

This is my first post, and is the main reason I finally decided to join up after years of lurking. I'm basically celibate. I'm primarily GL, but also sometimes attracted to adults. The two worlds met accidentally the other day, and it scared the crud out of me. I needed to talk about it and need the support for my right decision. I've read the posting rules and will obey!

I went to a certain store the other day in the local mall, a store that is known to sell a lot of adult "stuff." I was shopping for a particular item with a new (adult) female friend in mind. While at the display, I heard giggling behind me, and lo and behold, there were two average to cute LG's, around 11, watching me shop while pretending to look at the posters. I said, "Hi" and they giggled and said, "Hi" back. That is all. I made my purchase and left.

This is the first time I have ever been tempted to engage LG's in a situation with that much "tension." My imagination went haywire and all kinds of things could have gone wrong. Thankfully, I know I made the right choice in leaving.

The store itself contributed to the situation by allowing these LG's in to shop in the first place (I'm not complaining, just sayin'). Society sexualizes kids, sending messages both to the kids and to CL's. Then society turns around and completely demonizes US when we acknowledge LGs' as sexy. Then society makes it impossible to seek the "help" that society thinks we should have.

So my plea, or request, is this: I have read through this site's and other's information about how to find a good counselor, etc. I still have ZERO trust and will not go to one. I saw a "survey" you all did about various topics. Another would be nice, and may help GL's find "help." The survey would ask about different types of counselors used, the satisfaction of the counseling, and finally, was the counseling worth it?

I am not convinced GL's or CL's need "help" as such regarding orientation. It is our society that stigmatizes CL and makes it so unacceptable - it is not inherently bad. What I need "help" with, is dealing with the pressure.
