Do you believe everything you read?

Or just the things that give you a convenient opportunity to demonstrate your principles (like your solidarity, despite your pedophilia, with those who would find murder a justified reaction to actual child molestation)?

Reading the news is a very bad habit, and I make a point to avoid it as much as possible (though it's very hard to do). Forming opinions about the world based on what you read in the news is even more dangerous (I suffer from the symptoms myself, as I'm sure most of us do). You'd be much better off taking up reading the tabloids, or even pulp fiction. At least there, unlike with the news, there are no disillusions that what you're reading reflects reality.
