Was there a trial? Has there been any evidence presented? It was my understanding that all people are held as INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty. I'm not aware of any indictment against this man for his alleged crimes. I would ask this simple question: What if the father was mistaken? What if the man was actually NOT hurting his daughter at all, but the father merely thought he was? See, this is why we have those "trial" things, so that we don't have to go on the word of just one man. No one single individual gets to be judge, jury, and executioner in this system.

The evidence I've seen so far suggests that a four year old girl was being sexually assaulted and screamed. Her father came to rescue her and in the process, the perpetrator was beaten to death. A heat of the moment reaction, a crime of passion. I know that a lot of pedophile-phobic ass clowns will support this.

I can't say I support it, but I understand why/how it happened. Honestly, even a man who's a child molester himself would react instinctively if he caught another man molesting *his* child. Human being have intense protectionist instincts towards children. Even if we can rationally differentiate between consensual inter-generational sexual contact and sexual assault, and realize that even sexual assault shouldn't warrant the death penalty, when we see the latter taking place in front of our very eyes, it provokes a violent reaction from us.

I understand that life isn't black/white. Grey areas are all around. But a situation like this is pretty black/white, at least when you're in the midst of it yourself. It's fight or flight, and every man will choose fight to protect his defenseless daughter.
