The first clause establishes that you aren't concerned with the truthfulness of the second clause.
There are some who do give a "monkey's," and yet cannot know ( not don't, cannot ) because it is being withheld from the public.
Can you think of any other sort of case in which the inability to evaluate the evidence wouldn't render the claims that its harmful moot? "Take the Fed's word for it, there is no flour being sold, only heroin."
"Quoting peripheral material is supposed to somehow make all the real abusive material suddenly vanish? "
Not peripheral at all. Real cases. Real hard time being served for those who've seen some of what I have, only not while it was legal, and not while it could be looked at. The prosecution described it all as horrorshow, even though those who have seen it know better.
Further, in the case of the Danish stuff, not only not peripheral, but the most substantive source for nearly a decade's worth of harsh sentencing, so its real content is very much an issue, whether or not you give a "monkey's."
If you are going to not care about the merit of the claims, or whether such a claim can be truthful, then stick by your position that articles of belief are pointless to debate.
"Laugh all the way to prison if that is your attitude since either you know that the material exists and are merely bull-shitting or you don't so in that case refrain from commenting."
Again, your first clause has nothing to do with your second, because you know full well that what has been brought to trial is what you consider to be peripheral and non-exploitive. Avoidance of prosecution has nothing to do with harm coming to any real child.
And with the ever-increasing trend to prosecute text, and CGI, we know that this isn't what's fueling the crusade. But go ahead. Treat the claims ( eg. COPINE 6 ) as if they were the worst they could be rather than the least they could be. When neither of us are allowed to see for ourselves at least one of us will be discussing the darkness and what they saw before the lights went out, rather than making claims about what they haven't seen.
