Often, in a break-up, be it a romantic one, a sexual one, or even an employment one, there is this nagging feeling that, "Oh, I must be a bad person." Rejection. On the other hand, there often is the feeling that the other partner is a bad person.

No to both.

As far as I know, every relationship has fitting in problems. "You don't bring me flowers, any more." Or: "You're not hitting the right spot." Or: "I really need someone to work late hours."

So how do the "successful" relationships work? That's just it! Work. I am sure everyone has heard that before. Also, compromise seems to work well, too. But what happens when it doesn't work out?

Breakups. Rejection. Blaming. Self doubt. Natural and intelligent thought processes. However, just like too much chocolate, too much of a good thing isn't so good. Doubt yourself, but don't get stuck in doing it. Give yourself some time to heal from the heart being ripped out and then begin fresh. (I've been married three times.)

You are too hard on yourself now, Snowi. Because it is legal, don't stop your pursuit of love. So, too, don't run smack into it, either. Don't be in such a hurry. Not every teenager is wild and crazy. You can't find apples in an orange tree, either. If you hang out in bars, you are going to find people who hang out in bars. If you hang out in a chess club, you are going to find people who play chess. And everything in between my examples.

Enjoy life. You are only going to get one so strive to make it fun. Grit your teeth when you scrape your knee, but get back on the swing, hold on tighter, and pump hard!
