I still think it is extremely difficult to assess different societies and to weigh them up to see which is 'best' - as a model for example. Few utopias ever get constructed, perhaps because of 'human nature' being the one main constant but which seems to change for many when groups become too large. Thinking about abuse of power, lack of voice, etc. that mostly is absent from very small communities when people all feel part of that community - too much alienation in our societies and hence perhaps so many disruptive people voicing and acting on how they feel.
