when 'the love of my life' was diagnosed similarly and placed on meds, I reacted the same, even tho the mom that I felt was pushing this agenda was my own beautiful daughter. A few years later the diagnosis was confirmed again but we all insisted in alternatives to the drug treatment. I hate the side effects of the drugs and finally got agreement with the mom. Sometimes the doctors are right in these assessments but from an outside view appear wrong because we are too close to be objective. CPS in my case would have been a disaster for this girl. Get another opinon. Forget CPS.
