Unfortunately, this resulted in a perfectly normal "diplomatic stall."

That's perfectly fine; we started noticing problems when france illegitimately invaded the northwest of africa, and the "second" libyan revolution. Oh, and they killed gaddafi, which is a chance we were trying to avoid but lost an ally...

Syria was... basically ignored for a bit too long; our favored in the shia militias on lockdown could start a little rohava, which is why we have baby parties in spain and ireland. There's some drama around the lakes region, pensacola's a cutback to where that government fell out of the sky, which is pretty directly pertinent to the shia militia & chechnya...

... and there's been this string of bombing near the lakes region, boston and long island area, with some curious attempted race riots to the north of there.
