Girl Scouts at Trump's Inauguration

Posted by Chamrin on Thursday, January 19 2017 at 6:03:29PM

So apparently there's been some controversy about Girl Scouts being invited to Donald "grab 'em by the pussy" Trump's inauguration parade. A whole lot of liberal Girl Scouts (or I should say, their mothers) think that the 100+ year old tradition of Girl Scouts participating in the parade should be ended just because they don't like who got elected.

Well, bottom line is, the Girl Scouts will be there at the parade, for the whole world to see. The organization is thankfully standing firm, and cares more about these girls than a few parents who put politics first. I rather liked the response posted to the Girl Scout Blog:

"Being a leader means having a seat at the leadership table no matter what. It means being willing to work with whomever happens to hold political power. It means preparing girls not to run from the face of adversity, but to stand tall and proud and announce to the world, and the powers that be, that they are a force to be reckoned with, and that their needs, ideas, and views must be taken seriously. To do otherwise is to tell girls to sit down and be quiet—and that they don’t count." (Emphasis mine)

Apparently Girl Scouts are braver than the democratic party politicians and a few performers refusing to attend inauguration. I hope none of these girls get hurt in the planned riots by anarchists, feminists, and other liberal groups descending on D.C. this week.
