Not to attend

or to attend could be seen as a form of protest.

I am trying to find the good that can come out of this administration. I want to believe that he can bring back jobs, but I only see bragging and potentially disastrous consequences (trade war anyone?) if he follows through.

What's more, I also see huge safety problems for our workers if he strips certain laws that protect workers but cost businesses money. I see dire consequences for our water, our air, and our land with who he's selected to head the EPA.

I see restrictive sexual laws Trump gets a heart attack from his steaks and Pence takes the reins. That only furthers our goals IMO (even if the feminist side of things attacks men who like little girls while promoting sex ed for the same little girls).

Building a wall looks like a great waste of time, energy, and money.

And hasn't anyone else noticed that Trump keeps saying he'll cut taxes for the wealthy? That's trickle down theory and it's bullshit.

Would I have attended? Yes. I hope that the economy will continue to improve under Trump (that's Obama for not letting us sink in the worst recession ever). I have a lot of questions. Maybe these policies will work and will make America great again (it was getting a lot better already). But I want it explained to me how these policies will work. I keep reading them, tuning in to unbiased and conservative thinkers. It just all seems wrong...their logic. None of it seems like it will help anyone but business owners and the rich and the whites.

Woot? I'm white so I should celebrate???

So I said I'd attend, but would I attend in protest? In the end, I don't think so. I'd attend with questions, with an open mind, and ready for answers.

If the answers and policies I see coming from Trump continue to seem counter-intuitive toward making America great and keeping her that way, then the next election, should he win a second term, I would attend in protest. Should he be working toward the goals of protecting all people, protecting the environment, and enriching all of us, then I would be there supporting him. And also taking furtive glances at the girl scouts.
