Muchly agree here.

The sexes would get along better the sooner they acknowledge that biological differences create different arousal patterns. "Objectification" is the consequence of male sexuality having a large visual component and being moar indiscriminate. ( Some here like post-pubescents... ;p )

However, anyone who is not self-employed has encountered enough abusive bosses to know that there are many in the workplace who are on a power-trip; and that it seems there's an inverse relationship between the severity of the abuse and the response of HR.

I'm not gonna pretend that there's "patriarchy." But most workplace culture was created by Bros to benefit Bros, so its no surprise that the first to fall in a settling of accounts are gonna be those who behaved like Caligula.

I'll be the first to note that there seems to be a lot of conflation between mere insensitivity and gross abuse. And that, as you pointed out, the legal background was largely created by lesbian-separatist legal scholars; thus impelling lawsuit-fearful companies to drop the accused before the accuser has even drawn another breath.

( Usually this sort of cowardice is reserved for fear of clients with lawyers and leads to things as petty as the cashier being unable to call-out the guy who cut in front of you in queue. )

The merely clueless are being lumped in with the assaulters.

But I do feel the need to declare that if you are bruising a teen to force her, and threatening to use your position to destroy her if she speaks out, you are not a girllover.

And perhaps Dissident would be less inclined to assume that systemic workplace abuse isn't largely witch-hunt if I were to describe Weinstein et-al in terms of the Capitalist exploiting the female Proletariat. :)
