Spelling out whose implication?

To highlight the implication from your previous post I had been answering:

"Her father was notoriously extremely possessive and controlling."
"My brother was a misogynistic, domineering dick. That much is certain."

That sounds like you were saying the problems were generally with your brother, and would have recurred in his relationships with his any other possession, such as his wife. Also you are calling him "misogynistic" - which means he hates any women, including adult women such as his wife. Not "misopedistic" or something like this, meaning hating children.

Were you then mistaken in your implication, and your brother has been a better husband than stepfather?
