The poker-faced masks of 18 years here seem to prevent me from opening like this on GC, which while an unfortunate reality, doesn't overrule the inspiration you've just given me to write about my own past GL experiences.

Some are haplessly going through the motions. Others are bravely trudging toward what really matters, just like us. They're the ones that stay with us.
