FYI, I write happy things too - when I'm happy.

I appreciate your encouragement to look positive. Try to appreciate that whenever there's negativity, darkness, and futility on the mind, that's what I feel compelled to write about. It is a cathartic and cleansing process for me. If a sympathetic ear wants to weigh in, that never goes unappreciated - especially since sympathetic ears to my "situation" in terms of real life relationships are sorely lacking in the ability to comprehend the substance of my complaints on an emotional level.

"Look on the bright side" warrants a "thank you". "Look on the bright side" with special, thoughtful attention to examples given warrants a "thank you, my friend".

But don't expect to heal my sorrows with kind words and act dismayed when you weren't successful. Sorry - pet peeve.
