"The media does what they does 'cause they likes all that moneys they gets from all them OMG's they creates."

I'm not too sure I know who I am quoting there.

In the media, you hear of a violent car crash into a deep ravine with injuries and are shown a picture of a cop car flashing its blue and red lights. In actuality, it was a car that got a flat tire, pulled onto the side of the roadway into a shallow shoulder and the driver cut his finger on the tire iron while he was changing the tire. A passing highway patrol stopped to make sure the tire change went smoothly.

Consider: which is worth more to a little girl; a one dollar bill (U.S., or a Loonie in Canada) or 99 pennies (U.S., or 19 nickels in Canada)? If She doesn't understand the value of the currency, She will almost always choose the lesser value but greater number of items offered rather than the more valuable one.

The media understands psychological illusions and uses techniques and words designed to influence their readers' thoughts. The more readership they can get, the more advertisers advertise via that media. Truth has nothing to do with the story based on how that story is told.

Consider: I was convicted of several heinous crimes listed in bold block letters as several counts of forcible sodomy and aggravated sexual battery.

Everyone reading all about it soon thought that I had held my victim down, poked my penis into Her butt and then took a bat and hit Her with it. That is what the media was counting on. They did not print the actual details of it all. All that I did was kiss my little lover on Her (other) lips. Because She was below the AoC, that made it forcible even though there never was any force used. (Occasionally, She requested it.) Because the relationship we had lasted over 4 years, there had to be sexual touching of some other sort besides cunnilingus. Again, because She was below the AoC, the sexual touching (called sexual battery) was increased to aggravated.

The etymology of "heinous" reflects the association of hate with that which is evil or horrible. During the 14th century, English borrowed "heinous" from the Middle French "haine," meaning "hate." Over time English speakers came to use the word to reflect the sense of horror evoked by intense hatred.

In most jurisdictions, assault (also called attempted battery) is a threat or physical act that creates a reasonable apprehension of imminent harmful or offensive contact, whereas battery is a physical act that results in that harmful or offensive contact.

Aggravation, in law, is "any circumstance attending the commission of a crime or tort which increases its guilt or enormity or adds to its injurious consequences, but which is above and beyond the essential constituents of the crime or tort itself."

Thus, simple loving kisses become heinous acts of forcible sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. Which description do you think the media prints?

Regarding this post and every post I write about myself describing my past, be advised that I was tried, convicted, sentenced to a very long time in prison, and I served the complete sentence. Be further advised that I am no longer practicing illegal activities today and that I refrain from doing so by my own choice, not from fear of legal entanglements or society's outrage. I remain crime free because I choose to.
