On the other hand, simply abolishing age of consent and requiring a 3 year old to actively bring a complaint and meet a burden of proof for rape would put her bodily integrity into too much danger. There would be a need for some arrangements for unequal but realistic rights to sex. Like, an age below which consent is presumed not to have applied unless the weaker party confirms consent. |
