So here we have (Memoirs of) Josephine who is quite precocious for a 10 year old as well as quite knowledgeable in matters of pleasures due, in part, to just how well She (biblically) knows Her father. She definitely knows what She wants and how to get it. Alas, there are no willing adults about.

Over there we have poor 10 year old Johnny who is severely introverted and has no clue about what fun things his little appendage can do. He doesn't even know that he doesn't know.

Yet.

Josephine invites Herself over to Johnny's home for a game of Space Invaders while his parents are out doing parent things. Johnny is surprised when Josephine pulls down his pants, pulls up Her dress, and proceeds to enlighten Johnny. His disinterest suddenly becomes interest as his appendage responds to Josephine's attentions. Johnny's introversion magically disapears from the boy in just a few short seconds.

Johnny's parents abruptly return to find naked Johnny on top of naked Josephine doing his level best to reward Josephine for Her lessons in sex education. Both kids are yelled at and the cops are called.

Who is being molested? Who is being naughty? Who is being nice?

Johnny was on top and obviously sexually assaulting Josephine.

Josephine was in Johnny's house and taught Johnny how to sexually assault Her.

Both kids are declared innocent which is as they should be.

But what if the ages were different? Let's look at the social situation if introverted Johnny was 18 while Josephine was 17. Or, on the other hand, what if Josephine was 18 and Johnny was 17.

The problem we have here is that in all actuality, no matter the ages, it's not really society's business. What should have happened would have been where Johnny's parents apologized to the kids for interrupting and left them alone to finish their sex education homework.

But, alas, society is what it is. The Law is the law.
