Mental health of pedophiles

Wink, I agree with what you have said. Pedophiles are marginalized in society. Most of us, from birth to death try to hide a large part of who we are, that is very stressful sometimes. Most of us also have for some time, or a long time, repressed who we are, even lying to ourselves. Some things concerning us that are perfectly moral are illegal so many of us have been incarcerated or had other legal issues. So, yes many CLs have mental health issues, not because we are pedophiles but how society deals with that.

Sans already mentioned Lifeline before I did, you are welcome to come hang out with us whenever it is possible Wink, as are other here. We have a bunch of regulars from GC in LL regularly. If you don't know, it is a chatroom run by, and for BLs and GLs. We are not mental health professionals, but we do what we can to help people in any kind of mental health needs. Often times that is simply not feeling alone, having a place to chat with others who are similar to you. And when someone has a specific need we spend time talking with that individual. We are not perfect for various reasons, but you are welcome to join us any time and you are not alone.
