Why not? Surely you're not afraid that it will then 'take over', are you? Given the biological drive towards heterosexuality in most individuals, that's not going to happen. Of course, I agree (as Dissident remarked in his reply) that 'official' imposition by government or cultural commissars could not be justified - freedom of choice is the key.
