What is an LGF?

I know that LGF = Little Girl Friend, but I am curious as to what others consider the difference to be between an "LGF" and just a "girl with whom you are friendly."

I have five LGs that I consider to be "friends", but I think that maybe only one of them is really a Little Girl Friend.

(Can a married man actually have a Little Girl Friend? I am "out" to my wife, but I have not used this term with her yet :-)

Anyone have good criteria for when a "girl you know" becomes a "Little Girl Friend"?
