My personal 'official' opinion in my short time here is that GC is as dysfunctional as every other societal endeavor.

At the top of the heap are the high IQ pro writers, long diatribes about trivial political rhetoric; I call it so far, Dissident and Dante jacking each other off. Very few other members have the intelligence, time, or patience to read all this baloney, so they have to debate themselves.

Then there is Ethan and his self appointed sidekick Markaba; the Masked Avengers of pedophilia, pretty much just trolls actually, stirring up trouble wherever the weak links occur. At least they provide activity on the board. Things might get pretty slow without them.

jd420 is so esoteric and intellectual that no one can understand a word he says. Very interesting artistic psychedelic journeys though, each one. If only there was one more jd420 level poster, then they could jack each other off, too. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Then there are the lovers. Rainbow & girls_are_kittens. This is what I expected the majority of the board would be like, but they are so few. Odd for a board called Girl Chat.

A couple of oddballs: sadlife, grampa pedo holding on to the last threads of his passion, and qtns2die4, mysterious friend and would be lover to so may girls it's unmanageable even for him.

And a whole cast of others that I don't know much about; they peek in once in a while with an interesting link or sly comment, but don't reveal much about their character. Maybe they have in the past - I might have to have been around longer to 'know' who they are in this hodgepodge of misfits.

I can't say it's not entertaining and it's been fun to throw in a post or two for me, if no other reason than to see if anyone bothers to read it, being an unknown noob.

I thought there would be a more cohesive, supportive group here but, it turns out so far that most posters just argue with other posters, nit picking every freakin word and idea. It doesn't seem very many of you actually like each other.

These are early takes, I know. Just thought it might interest one or two of you to hear my 'first impressions'.

For context, I think of myself as a self-accepting pedophile, AoA 3-12, with a sharp peak at 10. I am definitely pro-choice and pro-contact but I have yet to see or even think of a practical application for that stance, therefore I am law abiding. I do not have a yf and never have had one. I'm not young and I'm not old. I joined the board to share observations and experiences about the beauty and charm of young girls without being judged as a dangerous criminal. It's pretty good for that, thank you, but I'm surprised at how much other stuff there is.

Anyway, I'm enjoying it so far. I's just not what I thought it would be.
